CARRIAGE’S “TOP TEN” FOR BUYING A CAMEO
1. ONLY BASEMENT-MODEL 5TH
WHEELS MADE
A BASEMENT = HUGE BENEFITS
Two separate floors run the
full length of the trailer: Both are decked with 5/8”
exterior plywood instead of OSB (Structured Wood) & both are
insulated with a vapor barrier.
The two floors are about one
foot apart & a portion of the return air flows through this
basement, which keeps your floor warmer in the winter,
protects anything you store in the basement, & keeps all of
the plumbing lines & holding tanks from freezing.
This basement lets us give you
storage across the rear of the trailer that other
manufacturers can’t. This makes it possible for you to
balance your load so that the weight of all of your cargo is
not placed on your truck.
The most important benefit you
gain from this basement is that unlike our competitors we
don’t have to cut large holes through the middle of our
frame for the slideout mechanism to pass through which
weakens the frame.
2. ONLY 5TH WHEEL MANUFACTURER
WITH A FULL WALL SLIDEOUT
3. AUTOMATIC HYDRAULIC
LEVELERS = ONE BUTTON LEVELS THE WHOLE TRAILER
4. TINTED WINDOWS & PAINTED
ALUMINUM MOLDINGS give the trailer a richer look, but more
importantly we have eliminated almost all of the rubber
inserts that usually shrink up & mildew & take away from the
good looks the trailer once had. This makes a huge
difference on the appearance after a few years.
5. TWO-YEAR BUMPER TO BUMPER
WARRANTY
6. FIVE-YEAR STRUCTURE
WARRANTY
***BOTH OF THESE WARRANTIES
APPLY EVEN IF YOU LIVE IN YOUR TRAILER FULL TIME. Most of
our competitors state in their warranties that their trailer
is intended for limited usage. READ THE WARRANTY! IT
MATTERS!
7. ALUMINUM BOX- TUBE FRAMING
ON 16” CENTERS, WELDED ON BOTH SIDES.
While some competitors use box
tubing, some space them 2 to 3 feet apart & sometimes even
farther, & some even screw them together with sheet metal
screws instead of welding them to save money. We do it
right.
8. CARRIAGE IS TRULY A
HIGH-END 5TH WHEEL MANUFACTURER: (Unlike most of our
competitors, who primarily build entry-level & mid-range
trailers.)
Although the Cameo is way
above most of the competition in quality & features, it is
the low end of the Carriage Line. Most of the trailers that
people compare the Cameo to are built by manufacturers that
started building entry-level & mid-range trailers & have
added bells & whistles to try to create an upper line
trailer. Carriage, on the other hand, strictly builds high
end 5th wheels starting with Cameo, then Carri-Lite, then
Carriage, & finally the Royals International ($130,000 to
$140,000). When you compare our Carriage Cameo to other
brands, the difference stands out clearly.
9. VINYL ROOFS, NOT RUBBER:
Vinyl roofs last longer & don’t stain & mildew like rubber .
10. OUR CABINETS ARE REAL
STAINED HARDWOOD (& not just the doors like most trailers).
The cabinet faces are also real wood, not a vinyl-wrapped
particle board. We stand by our high quality.
